The word etiquette according to Webster means: “The forms required by good breeding, social conventions, or prescribed by authority, to be observed in social or official life; the rules of decorum.”

In short it means good manners relative to the rules we observe in our daily living with others; more than the proper words spoken in an introduction; proper attitudes in any given situation; kindness to others; courtesy; respect for the other person’s feelings; considerations extended;

Aside from the LCI “Code of Ethics” the Association had issued “Ethical Standard” for officers and members.
